Beg, Borrow, or Steal by Sarah Adams .

Beg, Borrow, or Steal by Sarah Adams is a cozy, closed-door contemporary romance and the third book in her popular When in Rome series. It features a humorous, lighthearted "enemies-to-lovers" and "forced proximity" dynamic between two rival teachers.
Emily Walker is a second-grade teacher in Rome, Kentucky, who secretly writes romance novels on the side. Her quiet, carefully controlled life gets thrown into chaos when her long-time academic and professional nemesis, Jack Bennett, returns to town after calling off his engagement. To make matters worse, Jack isn't just back at her school—he bought the house right next door to her. When Emily accidentally sends a draft of her secret romance manuscript to their school principal, she faces potential ruin. Forced to swallow her pride, she turns to Jack—who secretly has his own side hustle as a bestselling mystery author—to help her steal back the file before it's discovered.
